Why hyper?

To eliminate unintended technical debt! For more information on what unintended technical debt is and why hyper was built go here: https://blog.hyper.io/why-start-hyper/

What types of applications can use hyper?

  • SaaS-based applications with web or mobile frontend are a great fit for hyper.
  • Applications deployed on a PaaS, such as Vercel, Fly.io, or Heroku, can use hyper services to power their backend/lambdas, without having to spin up separate infrastructure in a cloud provider, like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Decentralized Applications or "dApps" using a blockchain like Solana, Arweave, or Cardano, as their source of truth, can use hyper services as off-chain, fast companion services to power their applications, without spinning up additional cloud infrastructure.

How do I get started with hyper?

Once you have a Github account, you can sign into the hyper cloud developer dashboard, create a hyper app and get an app key. Then head to the Getting Started Workshops and kick the tires. 🚙

API Reference

Already familiar with working with hyper and want to find information about a specific API endpoint head to the API Reference (hyper cloud) section.
